meer balkan! – An evening full of sounds from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea: songs, dances, and melodies travel across borders, are given a lively twist, and served up fresh—passionate, melancholic, and surprising.
Klassische Balkanplatte - Borsch4Breakfast deliberately brings folk music back into the concert context, following in the tradition of field researchers such as Béla Bartók and Johannes Brahms. The result is a unique, cosmopolitan melting pot of “objets trouvés” that shows in a mischievously charming way how classical music can be interpreted in a fresh and original way today.
A balmy summer evening, a cool drink, a musical appetizer: take a pound of folklore, a dash of Balkan jazz, and a pinch of classical music—Borsch4Breakfast serves music like hot soup: hearty, substantial, and full of soul.

In Flagranti – When German folk songs and Eastern European folklore run away together: boundaries dissolve, rhythms stagger, melodies find themselves anew – passionate, contradictory, and forbiddenly beautiful.
